The 2nd of June we arranged this years Great Summer Pitch. With over 100 attendees and 5 studios pitching we had a really great afternoon and evening together at Karlstad Stadshotell Elite.
5 teams out of 12 were selected by an industry panel to get the chance to win the first prize of 100K sek. and to pitch at this years event. Everyone delivered fantastic presentations and game ideas with an incredible commitment that captivated both the audience and our jury.

After the 5 minutes pitch there was a 15 minutes Q & A by our amazing jury. They shared their expertise and experience with such commitment and asked relevant questions witch were invaluable both for those who pitched and for the audience.

The evening continued with mingle, food and playtesting of games from our community. The future of games that are produced here in Värmland right now. It was a fantastic evening with a great mix of students, the gaming industry and people from the public sector, region and municipality. Together we create the conditions to build the game industry in Värmland!
