The Great Journey Presents New Report on Video Games, Entrepreneurship, and Transmedia: Calling for a State-Appointed National Coordinator in Karlstad
To maintain and grow Sweden’s leadership in the digital games and creative sectors, future development must balance cultural and commercial interests, enhance cooperation between public and private actors, and unify cultural fields under a cohesive national strategy. The report recommends appointing a state national coordinator for this purpose, ideally based in Karlstad due to the region’s strong cultural assets and favorable conditions.
